NEW Comprehensive MLTS Spanish to English General Translation Test Part One

Description

This test evaluates general translation ability for translators working from Spanish into English, testing for:

Part One: (FREE) Source language comprehension, target language fluency. Part One is available free of charge, but to receive your certificate, you must purchase and successfully pass Part Two.

Part Two: (USD $19.99) Internet research skills, English writing ability, and comprehensive translation ability. To access Part Two, you must purchase the access code at USD $19.99. To be eligible for Part Two, you must first pass Part One.

Format: Multiple choice, fill in the blank, essay, and translation, to be completed online. If your internet strength is not reliable, you can request a PDF version of this test at tests@meridianlinguistics.com.

Estimated time to complete: Depends on your training and experience, and ranges from 35 to 60 minutes.

Pass Rate as of Fall 2017: 39%

Testing and Delivery Method: This test is to be completed online, using Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, or Edge. Successful testees will receive a certificate, credential code, and badge.

Eligibility: To pass this test, you must be a native speaker of the target language and fully fluent in the source.
